We are passionate about the local church, and are on mission to see God’s kingdom established across the earth. See how you can help:
Building a 24/7 house of prayer where women can seek God’s presence and intercede for one another.
Providing practical training to help women achieve financial independence and dignity
Offering emotional, spiritual, and physical healing through Christ’s love.
Standing with persecuted women, ensuring they are protected, supported, and uplifted.
Building a supportive network where women connect, empower each other, and grow together in faith and purpose.
A World Where Every Woman Rises in Christ to Fulfill Her Destiny WAFD envisions a world where women are spiritually strong, financially independent, and socially connected, living free from fear, persecution, and discrimination. Our vision is inspired by Galatians 3:28, which declares, “There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
Women are empowered to lead and serve in their families, churches, and communities.
Broken families are restored through the healing power of Christ.
Persecuted women find refuge and hope in the Lord.
A global sisterhood of women arises to advance God’s Kingdom on earth.
The Story of Women Arising for Destiny (WAFD): A Journey of Faith, Strength, and Transformation Women Arising for Destiny (WAFD) is a faith-driven organization dedicated to empowering women spiritually, socially, and financially. Founded by Pastor Jacqueline Bhatti, WAFD was born out of a vision to create a space where women could find strength, healing, and purpose, regardless of their background or circumstances. Pastor Jaqueline’s journey began in Pakistan, where she witnessed the struggles of Christian minorities, particularly women, facing discrimination and hardship. After moving to Bahrain and experiencing personal trials that tested her faith, she found renewed purpose through ministry. A divine calling led her back to Pakistan, where she began planting house churches and creating opportunities for women to gain education and skills through the Meena Skill Development Center. A tragic turning point came with the assassination of her youngest brother, Shahbaz Bhatti, a leader in religious freedom advocacy. Facing threats, Jaqueline and her family sought refuge in Canada. Though uprooted, her mission remained steadfast. In 2019, she founded WAFD as a small prayer group, which quickly grew into a global movement spanning multiple countries. WAFD provides spiritual support, leadership development, and economic empowerment programs, including sewing schools, mentorship, and outreach initiatives. Through Houses of Prayer, women find a safe space to worship and grow in faith. The organization’s mission is to ensure that no woman walks alone, equipping her to rise, lead, and step into her God-given destiny. From humble beginnings to a thriving international network, WAFD continues to transform lives through faith, community, and empowerment.
